   INTER AND OPEN SANS WERE REMOVED 2026-10-03, and the history matters because they were
   briefly defended as load-bearing. They were: a full-DOM census showed Inter 600/700 was
   computed on 36 nav links (the Elementor FOOTER menu) and Open Sans 400 on one footer
   copyright line. So they were shipped, deliberately, to make an earlier switch invisible.
   Then the footer was moved onto the house faces - and re-measuring showed ZERO elements
   computing either family on the homepage, a category archive or a static page. They are
   gone, and with them ~96 KB of webfont that nothing rendered.

   The lesson worth keeping: "is this font used?" must be answered by a census of every
   element that OWNS a text node, re-run after the markup changes - not by the reasoning that
   was true last time. */
