Snapchat has announced a new combination with Spotify, which will enable users to share playable Spotify tracks via stickers within their Snaps. The sample shown as below.
Snapchat does not have a music option at the moment but Instagram and Facebook stories do have this option. By having this option, it makes user more easier to share Spotify tracks directly from Snapchat.
The process of sharing a Spotify track to your Snap
- Tap the “share” menu (three dots on the right of the screen) while you’re listening to any song, album, artist, or podcast.
- Select “Snapchat” from the dropdown list.
- Snapchat will open a new Snap with the full album art included.
- Edit and send—whether to a few people or to your Story
As noted, Facebook and Instagram users have been able to share Spotify for some time. Now, it is Snapchat playing catch up here.
