MIAPEX 2026: 350 Exhibitors, 23-25 Oct, MIECC

MIAPEX 2026 runs from 23 to 25 October at the Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) in Seri Kembangan, and the part a trading business should notice is the B2B half: around 350 exhibitors from ten countries, a RM12 million sales target, and two conferences running alongside the floor — one on logistics and EV fleets, one on EV repair safety for workshop owners.

MIAPEX 2026: dates, venue and the numbers

The 15 September announcement came from organising chairman Ong Choon Jet at a press conference in Seri Kembangan (Bernama, 15 September 2026). The headline figures are targets, not results, and they are worth reading as a scale claim rather than a forecast to rely on.

“These exhibitors come not only from Malaysia, but also from China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Germany, and Australia. We want MIAPEX to be a platform where Malaysian and international automotive companies can meet, source, trade, discover new technologies and create new business opportunities.” — Ong Choon Jet, organising chairman, MIAPEX 2026, at the announcement press conference, Seri Kembangan, 15 September 2026, as reported by Bernama

The B2B half: two conferences, and what they cover

MIAPEX describes itself as “B2B by industry and B2C by experience”, and the B2B half is where a trading or workshop business gets actual substance. Two conferences run inside the expo.

For a workshop owner, the AARE agenda is the more directly commercial of the two: EV repair safety and certification standards are the two things separating a workshop that can take an EV job from one that cannot. For a parts trader or a logistics operator, the 23–24 October conference covers the fleet and cross-border questions that decide how parts actually move.

The B2C half, and why it matters to an exhibitor

The consumer programme is not decoration. It includes the Malaysian debut of the Philippines’ Bumper to Bumper Car Show, car club gatherings, the Raja & Ratu Tukar Tayar 2026 competition, mega sales and interactive booth challenges with RM20,000 worth of lucky-draw prizes. The event also launches the Malaysia Toy Cars Expo, with Tamiya mini 4WD and remote-control cars aimed at families and youth.

That mix is the reason the organiser can project 22,000 visitors in three days, and it is why a B2B exhibitor should not dismiss the consumer half: footfall is what turns a parts stand into a pipeline of small dealers, workshops and end customers in the same weekend.

What we would actually do. If you source or supply automotive parts, the two decisions to make before 23 October are which conference you are attending and who you are meeting on the floor. The expo directory and visitor registration are on the organiser’s site. Entry is free, so the only real cost is the day.
